Meet the Founder/President
My name is Stephanie Davis DVM, MD, MPH. I am the founder of Post Trauma Initiative (PTI). Temica is my niece.
I am combat veteran, retired USAF flight surgeon who deployed four times and was also the victim of military sexual trauma (MST). I was medically retired in 2019 as a 100% service-connected disabled veteran, after 24.5 years of combines active duty and reserves.
I have personally and compassionately worked with all the populations PTI seeks to serve with shared housing. Although currently retired from practicing medicine, I am still committed to live a purpose-driven life by helping those affected by systemic trauma to transform their lives beginning with safe and stable housing.
Meet the Co-Founder/Vice President
My name is Temica Hayes, and I am the Co-Founder of Post Trauma Initiative (PTI). Stephanie is my aunt.
For over 15 years, I have worked in the medical field as a radiology technologist. In that capacity, I have also worked with all the populations PTI hopes to help with housing needs. I recently experienced a personal trauma when I lost my only child, Malik, to gun violence. My goal is to help those seeking refuge at PTI find a welcoming place to recover and start fresh.
