The mission of Post Trauma Initiative is to provide systemic trauma survivors the safety and stability
needed to heal and transform their lives, in beautiful GUM houses.

Our Standard

GUM Houses are in safe, inviting neighborhoods which are well maintained and designed for every resident to feel welcome and at home.

Rules are incorporated into our program to aid in peace and tranquility within the house. Healing and transformation can begin when a person no longer has to worry about a safe place to sleep. Post Trauma Initiative is committed to helping you start on this new journey!

Meet Gloria, Ulysses and Malik (GUM)

The homes within Post Trauma Initiative will be GUM Houses in honor of Gloria, Ulysses and Malik

Gloria

is Stephanie’s older sister and Temica’s aunt, who passed away on December 17, 2005. She was an amazing soul who was loved by everyone she met.
